Ghoksadanga, 04th May: Three youths were killed after their tractor overturned at Mathabanga. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Moslem Mian, 19-year-old Amit Barman, and Harikal Barman also 19-year-old.
Reportedly, Moslem Mian accompanied by his two friends Amit Barman and Haribal Barman was taking the tractor along the banks of Lafabari Buritorsha of Natapata village gram panchayat under the Mathabanga-2 block to work in farmland. While they were travelling, the tractor lost control and overturned under the culvert, injuring the trio seriously.
Following the accident, the three were immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead. Police have recovered the bodies and have sent them for postmortem. The police are investigating the entire incident.
