Naxalbari, 1st February: A 3-day Jay Johar Mela is being held with 102 tribal populated localities of 15 districts under the Jabra division of Naxalbari block.
During this District Project Officer of Adivashi Vikaas Union Board Anabil Dutta, Naxalbari BDO Arindam Mandal, Joint BDO Amit Sarkar and other people were also present.
Various stalls have been installed and many cultural programmes and sports have been arranged for the 3-day fair. Also, seven people were given caste certificates. Project Officer Anabil Dutta stated that the fair is a project plan for the development of the tribal community.
