3 Bangladeshi intruders arrested in Siliguri for illegally entering into India

Siliguri, 31st January: The NJP police have arrested three Bangladeshi nationals on charges of illegally entering India. The arrested suspects have been identified as Mohammad Habib, Mohammad Shamsher Ali, and Atirul Mohammad.


As stated by the sources, the police received a tip-off about the illegal infiltration on Thursday evening. Acting swiftly, the NJP police launched an operation in the Fulbari area, and by evening, the three Bangladeshi individuals were apprehended as they entered the region.

Upon searching them, the police recovered hydraulic wire cutters, a machete, a sickle, a Bangladeshi SIM card, a mobile phone, and 110 Bangladeshi Taka from their possession.


The arrested individuals were presented before the Jalpaiguri Court on Friday while further investigation is ongoing.
