Rajganj, 08th July: Sensation prevailed after the brutal murder of a youth surfaced from Murder More near Fulbari in Rajganj, on Wednesday night. According to sources, the youth’s throat was slit and was stabbed in the abdomen with a sharp weapon. The deceased has been identified as Saddam Hossain (25), a resident of Ghirnigaon Mandalbasti in Chopra block under Uttar Dinajpur district.
According to sources, the deceased used to export stones from Fulbari to Bangladesh. For business purposes, he had rented a house in Jatiyakali. On Wednesday night, the locals spotted him walking in a severely injured state at the Murder More area. He was trying to communicate with someone through his mobile phone. However, he collapsed and fell to the ground within a while.
The incident was immediately reported to the NJP police station. The youth was rescued and taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, police recovered a liquor bottle and a motorcycle key from the spot. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
