Rajganj, 04th April: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of 23-year-old Deepak Roy was recovered by police on Sunday in Rajganj. The deceased was a resident of Telipara village.
Reportedly, he had suffered a head injury in a bike accident during Saraswati Puja earlier this year. After the accident, Deepak’s close ones noticed a significant change in his behavior. On Sunday, Deepak asked his mother to cook fish for him and so she went to the market. After about half an hour his mother returned home and found Deepak’s body hanging from the noose.
Following this, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Jalpaiguri district hospital for post-mortem. Police have started an investigation of the whole matter.
