Siliguri, 06th November: The College Para Jagaddhatri Puja Committee in Siliguri is gearing up to celebrate Jagaddhatri Puja on a grand scale this year, marking their fourth annual event. The announcement was made at a press conference held by the Puja organizers at the Siliguri Journalists Club on Wednesday.
According to the organizers, this year’s special attraction will be a 21-foot Jagaddhatri idol from Chandannagar. Additionally, the mandap will feature decorations inspired by the ’51 Peeth’ with distinctive Chandannagar-style lighting adding to the ambiance.
Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb will inaugurate the Puja, which will include cultural programs, social service initiatives, and special refreshments for attendees.
Present at the press conference were Puja Committee Chairman Madan Bhattacharya, Secretary Sourav Bhaskar, and other committee members.
