Rajganj, 06th July: The Gajoldoba Development Authority has prepared a budget of 20 crore rupees for development-related work in 4 Gram Panchayats adjacent to the Gajoldoba area. As per the reports, the second meeting of the Gajoldoba Development Authority was held on Monday at Gajoldoba’s Hawa Mahal.
After the meeting, Vice-Chairman Khageshwar Roy stated that the Development Authority has been formed as per the directives of the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The authority includes Mantadari in Rajganj block, Shikarpur, Odlabari in Malbazar block, and Bagrakot Gram Panchayat areas.
A budget of 20 crore rupees has been prepared in the first phase concerning development works in all the aforementioned areas. Various developmental work plans including the construction of paved roads, bridges, proper drinking water facilities will be prepared and sent to the state government. Construction work will commence as soon as the amount is allocated.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the authority and District Magistrate Abhishek Tiwari, DLLRO Ranjan Chakraborty, Malbazar SDO Shantanu Bala, BDO Biman Chandra Das, Rajganj BDO NC Sherpa as well as other officials and architects.
