West Bengal Home Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay, on Monday, through a press conference announced that there will be a 2-day complete lockdown every week starting this week in the state.
As per the directives, complete lockdown will be imposed this Thursday and Saturday, i.e. on July 23 and July 25, all over the state.
Besides the lockdown in all containment zones has also be extended till July 31 as containment measures. The decision comes in light of the increasing coronavirus positive cases in the state.
