Siliguri, 20th December: Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre organized their Annual Academic Conference on Trauma Management at Montana Vista, Siliguri on December 18 and 19 to highlight different aspects of trauma management to gear up Trauma Care in this part of the country.
The 2-day long symposium had live interactive sessions, audiovisual presentations, hands-on training on Trauma Management by senior and experienced doctors. Around 100 doctors from the North Bengal region, Sikkim, Bihar, and Nepal participated in the two-day-long symposium to take insights on the effective management of Emergency and Trauma cases.
The symposium was inaugurated by senior doctors Dr. Sandip Sengupta, Dean – North Bengal Medical College & Hospital, Dr.Sudipta Bose, Vice-Chancellor – MGM Medical College, and Dr. Ichchit Jaiswal, Registrar – MGM Medical College, Kishanganj.
Eminent doctors from different parts of the country as well as from Siliguri were presented at the symposium as chairpersons and speakers. Dr. Malay Chakroborty, the pioneer of Neuro and Trauma surgery in this region, Dr. Sekhar Chakroborty, Dr. Sankha SubhraSen, two renowned names in the field of Internal Medicine & Critical Care were presented in the symposium as chairpersons along with senior consultants, Critical Care, Orthopaedics, Neuro Surgery of NeotiaGetwel Healthcare Centre, Siliguri.
Dr. Anandabrata Bose, Sr. Consultant – Otorhinolaryngology, Dr. Garima Mishra & Dr. Ayan Banerjee, Consultant – Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Sabyasachi Ghosh, Sr. Consultant – Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement Surgery, Dr. Rajeev Trehan – Sr. Consultant – CTVS of Neotia Getwel presented their interactive lectures along with hands-on training on Trauma Management.
