Darjeeling, 28th April: In the last 24 hours, a total of 197 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the Darjeeling district, including the Siliguri municipal area and parts of Jalpaiguri.
According to the information received, 114 COVID-19 cases have been reported from Siliguri municipal area, 07 from Darjeeling municipality, 06 from Sukna, 01 from Kurseong municipality, 03 from Mirik, 02 from Bijanbari, 04 from Sukhia Pokhari, 44 from Matigara, 15 from Naxalbari and 01 from Phansidewa. A total of 128 cases are from SMC including the Jalpaiguri portion.
50 cases have been recovered including home isolation patients (*this discharge figures don’t include discharge from private hospitals and defence establishment)
