Siliguri, 17th January: In recent developments, the Matigara Police Station safely rescued a missing Siliguri minor girl from Delhi after a month. In addition, the police have detained a suspect for interrogation.
Sources revealed that the cops of Matigara police station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police will present the minor in Delhi court on Wednesday and leave for Siliguri.
As per reports, on December 12, a missing complaint of a 15-year-old minor was filed at the Matigara police station. Based on the complaint, the police initiated an investigation and reviewed CCTV footage and mobile location.
During the investigation, the police gained information regarding the minor’s presence in Delhi. Promptly, a team from the Matigara police station left for Delhi and successfully rescued the minor girl.
The police will produce the minor girl before the Delhi Court to ascertain the precise reason behind her disappearance. In addition, the detained youth will be presented in Delhi court after a detailed interrogation.
