Rajganj, 05th January: Leaving BJP, 15 families in Rajganj joined Trinamool. Today a meeting was organized under the aegis of the Zonal Trinamool Congress Committee of the Shikarpur area. Many people of Jawarbari village of Panashguri Amerbari booth of Shikarpur gram panchayat under Rajganj block committed to the Trinamool Congress.
Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress Chairman and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy inducted everyone into the party by handing over the party flag. Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress President Arindam Banerjee said that given the development of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the said 15 families have joined TMC today. Adding to this, he added that their joining the TMC has made the party even stronger.
