Cooch Behar, 21 January: Panic gripped the area after thirteen live bombs were recovered from two bags placed in front of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office located in the Lotapota area of Ghoksadanga in Mathabhanga Block No. 02. Upon receiving the information, the Ghoksadanga police rushed to the scene and recovered the explosives.
In this regard, the party members of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) alleged that the incident is a strategy undertaken by the opposition to put a halt to the ‘Sampriti Rally’ to be held on January 22. On the other hand, BJP claimed that the TMC has organized a protest in front of BJP’s party office to create an atmosphere of panic in the area.
