Rajganj, 07th October: Another 13 cottages were inaugurated in Bhorer Alo of Gajoldoba, on Thursday. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee virtually inaugurated the cottages from Kolkata. Five of these cottages are two-storied.
Khageswar Roy, MLA of Rajganj as well as vice-chairman of Gajoldoba Development Authority, said that the opening of 13 cottages in the second phase before Durga Puja will benefit the tourists to a great extent.
Jalpaiguri DM Moumita Godara Basu, District-in-council President Uttara Barman, Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Purnima Roy, Rajganj BDO Pankaj Konar, Joint Director of Tourism Department of North Bengal Jyoti Ghosh, DFO of North Bengal, Department of Horticulture and Forestry, were also present at the programme.
