Siliguri, 29th May: Acting on the government’s directives, a paid quarantine facility has been launched in eleven hotels in Siliguri for people who need to undergo 14 days quarantine after returning from different states. The initiative has been taken after holding a discussion with the district administration.
As per the information, the new ‘pay and use’ quarantine facility has been set up in Siliguri’s Hotel Dolly Inn, Hotel Heritage, the Kanchenjunga Lodge, Hotel Central Park, Hotel Swastik, Hotel Swastik Residency, Hotel Holidon, Hotel Mountain View, Hotel Sachitra, Marriott and Arya Hotel.
The administration has asked the hotel owners to reduce the rent by 40 % and ensure that workers take all precautionary measures while doing their job. The bags of all the visitors should be thoroughly sanitized and they should avoid physical contact with any outsider. PPE kits will also be provided to the hotel workers soon.
