Rajganj, 19th March: Sensation prevailed in the area after the lifeless body of a youth was found hanging from a tree near his residence located in the Dali Jote area of Paglarhat under the Sannyasikata Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. The deceased has been identified as Rit Roy (23).
Family sources revealed that Rit was the only son of the family and was employed at a private company in Siliguri. On Tuesday morning, his family found his body hanging from a tree near their residence. However, they are unsure about the reasons behind this drastic action. Subsequently, the family reported the incident to the Rajganj police station.
Upon receiving the news, the Rajganj police promptly arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and transported it for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Rit’s untimely demise.
