Youth from Siliguri trapped in Ukraine, family members demand for his safe return at the earliest

Siliguri, 24th February: Ukrainian officials closed its airspace citing a “high risk” amid Russia’s invasion. Many Indians are still stuck in Ukraine, among them is Pritam Malakar, a resident of Siliguri who is pursuing MBBS at Poltava Medical University. 

His family in Siliguri is deeply disturbed ever since Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "military operation" in Ukraine early Thursday. Apparently, Pritam's father, Piyushkanti Malakar, is keeping in contact with his son through video calls. According to Pritam, so far the situation in Poltava is fine. Nonetheless, his family members have demand for his safe return at the earliest.
