Rajganj, 12th October: A youth died in a road accident last Tuesday night in the Buri More adjoining area on the Fatapukur-Belakoba state highway.
The deceased has been identified as Pintu Roy Pramanik (32), a resident of the South Ambedkar Colony of Siliguri. Reportedly Pintu used to work as a TV repairman in Jalpaiguri for a long time. Following his usual routine, he left the house on Tuesday morning in a vehicle. Later at night, his four-wheeler vehicle met with an accident where he died in the incident.
As per the police sources, the said four-wheeler hit the divider in the Buri More adjoining area on Belakoba state highway in Fatapukur, leaving the vehicle behind. After the incident, he was rescued and taken to Rajganj Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The vehicle has been recovered by Rajganj police. The body has been sent to Jalpaiguri district hospital for post-mortem and the police are probing into the entire incident.
