Siliguri, 07th June: In a tragic incident, a young man identified as Sairesh Sahani (22), from the Jabravita area near Siliguri, drowned while bathing at Kamala Water Falls in Kalijhora.
As per reports, Sairesh took leave from his private company and went with friends to the falls around 7 a.m. on Thursday. Tragically, he fell into the water and has not been found yet. Local authorities were promptly notified, and divers have been conducting a search since yesterday.
Meanwhile, Sairesh’s family expressed concern, stating that he didn’t know how to swim. They stressed on conflicting accounts from friends while claiming suspicions.
The family has further urged for a thorough investigation by the police administration.
