WB Backward Classes Welfare Department hosts 35th Rajganj Block Bhavaiya Sangeet Competition

Rajganj, 19th February: On Monday, the 35th Rajganj Block Bhawaiya Sangeet Competition was organized in Rajganj, under the initiative of the West Bengal Backward Classes Welfare Department. The event was held at the Kanyashree Bhawan of Rajganj BDO office.


According to reports, the competition was officially inaugurated by Jalpaiguri Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Krishna Roy Barman, District Primary School Council (DPSC) Chairman Lakshya Mohan Roy, and BDO Prashant Barman through lighting a lamp. On this day, several contestants participated in the ‘Dariya’ and ‘Chatka’ categories where the participants securing the first and the second places would be rewarded.

The event witnessed the presence of Rajganj Panchayat Samiti President Rupali Dey Sarkar, Vice-President Kavita Chhetri Saiba, Zilla Parishad members Ranbir Majumdar, Uttara Barman, Sarbani Dhara, Arindam Banerjee and other public representatives.
