Siliguri, 15th September: The Ward no- 35 Trinamool Congress Committee staged a protest with a demand to repair the roads adjacent to NJP.
The committee members alleged that the roads are lying in a dilapidated condition. The presence of potholes on the roads has increased the number of major and minor accidents in the area. Although various organizations approached the railway authorities in this concern, no initiatives have been taken so far.
The Ward No. 35 Trinamool Congress Committee, under the leadership of Ward coordinator Chandrani Mandal, launched a movement and submitted a memorandum to the railway authorities. They further warned of staging larger demonstrations if their demands are not met soon.
