Ward No. 26 Councillor Deepayan Roy takes initiatives to get rid of traffic congestion in Siliguri’s Babupara

Siliguri, 24th February: The residents of Aloo Chowdhuri More in Siliguri Babupara face a lot of difficulties due to traffic congestion.


The locals alleged that despite reporting the matter to the administration several times, no settlement has been provided yet. As per the report, the traffic police have taken various initiatives in various areas of the city to ensure that the Madhyamik examinees can reach the examination center within the right time. However, no initiatives have been taken in the said area.


In this regard, Ward No. 26 Councillor Deepayan Roy came forward to solve the problem and attempted to control the traffic himself to help the Madhyamik examinees who will take their Mathematics paper today. Councilor Dipayan Roy stated that despite reporting the issue to the Siliguri police station several times, no steps have been taken on behalf of the administration. He further stated that if such a situation continues, a written demand will be submitted at the police station.
