Unlock 1.0: 5 tourist centers in West Bengal set to reopen

Siliguri, 03rd June: After a prolonged period of lockdown across the country, 5 tourist centers are likely to reopen with the consent of the state.


During a press conference at the Siliguri Mainak Tourist Lodge today, the State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb stated that Diamond Harbor, Bishnupur, Maithon, Rangabitan, and Dooars Tilabari are set to reopen and online booking of these 5 tourist lodges will commence from June 8 following all the government protocols. He further stated that the aforementioned tourist centers will reopen initially following which, the other tourist attractions will also resume operations gradually. The lodge workers as well as the tourists must wear mouth masks and follow all the safety rules to prevent the spread of the virus.
