Two shops robbed in Siliguri amid lockdown

Siliguri, 03rd April: Two shops in Siliguri’s Bholamore area were robbed amid the 21-day lockdown.


The Bholamore Bazar Committee Secretary Raj Sinha and President Bappa Goswami stated that the shops had been closed ever since the lockdown was imposed. The matter came into light only when the vendors opened the shops for some dusting. They further stated that the burglars cut open the tin sheets at the rear end of the shops and entered inside.


As per the report, valuables such as mobiles, memory cards, and pen drives were stolen from the shops.
