Rajganj, 26thMarch: An individual was injured in a collision between two cargo vehicles. The incident took place on Tuesday night at Sariyam More area of Rajganj on Siliguri-Jalpaiguri 31 National Highway. The injured individual is identified as Ratan Roy.
According to sources, On Tuesday night a canter truck and a lorry collided. Due to this, the driver of the canter got injured. As per locals, the driver was in an inebriated state at the time of the accident.
Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot rescued the injured driver, and rushed him to Rajganj Rural Hospital. However, the lorry managed to escape the spot. Currently, the police are investigating the entire incident.
