Rajganj, 10th February: Sensation prevailed in the Ambari area after, two youths identified as Shubh Das (28) and Munna Das (25), brothers by relation and residents of Ambari, died in a road accident while returning home from a wedding ceremony. Another youth identified as Bhajan Singh (27), the friend of the two brothers, was severely injured in the incident. The crash occurred near the Talma Bridge in Rajganj block, late Wednesday night at around 1.30 am.
According to sources, the youths had gone to attend a marriage ceremony in the Mohitnagar area of Jalpaiguri. While returning from the wedding, they lost control of their motorbike and collided with a guard wall on the Talma Bridge and fell on the road.
On receiving the news, the family members immediately reached the spot and brought them to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, where the doctors declared both the brothers dead. The injured youth was admitted to a private hospital in Siliguri. The Rajganj police have started the further investigation.
