Siliguri, 11th February: A Jan Sahyog Yatra (public relation drive) was conducted in Ward No. 5 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation, under the leadership of Rita Das, the General Secretary of Darjeeling District Mahila Trinamool Congress and with the help of the Ward Councillor Durga Singh. Under the campaign, the Trinamool Mahila activists apprised the common people about the works being conducted by the State Government.
Das stated that the Jan Sahyog Yatra received a lot of support from the common people. She further mentioned that many people will be able to join the Trinamool Congress after the drive. The programme was attended by Mimi Roy and many other activists and supporters of the Ward Mahila Committee.
