Tension grips Siliguri’s NJP after two groups clash, many injured

Siliguri, 05th January: An atmosphere of tension engulfed the NJP area after a clash broke out between the two groups in front of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).


Reportedly, the conflict between the two factions started over the submission of tenders for the tankers that go to various petrol pumps from the IOC.

As per allegations, INTTUC leader Prasenjit Roy and his associates were attacked by another group today. They were also pelted with stones. This was soon followed by a clash between the two sides.


The NJP police are at the spot and are trying to control the situation. It has been reported that many people have been injured in this incident.।
