Siliguri, 25th February: After the West Bengal government issued guidelines designating former army personnel as in charge of security in all government food departments across the state, close to 680 temporary workers have lost their jobs.
Likewise, 53 temporary security employees have lost their jobs at the NJP food department office. The workers said that they have been working for long 10 years and demanded immediate resumption of work.
