Siliguri, 18th August: A special ‘Maha Rudra Puja and Satsang’ was organised at the Art of Living Ashram premises near Kawakhali in Siliguri.
A major highlight of the event was the Maha Rudra Puja performed with the nearly century-old Somnath Jyotirlinga. The consecration ceremony of the Shiv Shakti Temple at the ashram was also held as part of the programme.
Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar attended the event and participated in the religious proceedings.
According to the organisers, the initiative aimed to spread messages of peace, harmony and positive energy in society. A large number of devotees and residents from Siliguri and surrounding areas attended the programme and participated in the prayers and rituals.
