Siliguri, 15th October: During a press conference at Siliguri Municipal Corporation on Thursday, BoA chairman Ashok Bhattacharya stated that SMC has taken an initiative to install a third electric furnace at Siliguri’s Kiranchandra crematorium.
Bhattacharya said that Rs 1.30 crore has been allocated for the installation of a third furnace at the Kiranchandra crematorium. Besides, he also allocated 8 lakh rupees from the MLA Area Development Fund for beautification work in the Mahananda river ghat.
