January 06, Siliguri: Ward number 18 Trinamool Leader Nikhil Sahani withdrew his nomination papers, on Thursday.
Former councilor Nikhil Sahani submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate after TMC did not provide him a ticket for SMC polls. He withdrew his nomination papers today after holding meetings with the party leaders.
Nikhil Sahani along with Trinamool leader Goutam Deb reached the SDO office for the withdrawal of his nomination. He stated that he will campaign in support of his party’s candidate in the coming days.
