Siliguri, 04th November: With Kali Puja just a few days away, preparations are in full swing in Siliguri’s Milanpally area. This year, the Milanpally Tarun Sangha is set to celebrate the 25th year of its Kali Puja with several special attractions planned to mark the milestone.
One of the major highlights of this year’s celebration will be spectacular lighting arrangements and a laser show, which are expected to draw large crowds. The organisers have also planned a uniquely conceptualised idol of Goddess Shyama, with Lord Ganesha on one side and Lord Kartikeya on the other.
The distinctive idol design is expected to be a major attraction for visitors this year. The organisers are making special arrangements to ensure that the silver jubilee celebration remains memorable.
Meanwhile, considerable enthusiasm can be seen among the members of the Puja committee as preparations continue. The organisers are expecting a large number of visitors to attend the celebrations and witness the special arrangements marking the 25th year of the Puja.
