Siliguri, 15th October: Like various other Durga Puja committees, the Central Colony Durga Puja Committee has also been trying to figure out a way as to how things can be organized in the present COVID scenario. In the course, the organizers have come up with a unique idea to ensure that the devotees can enjoy the puja and at the same time, the crowd is also kept under check.
The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee has prepared an App that will allow the devotees to pandal hop virtually while they stay safe at their homes. The Puja Committee will launch the app on the Maha Panchami (21st October, 2020).
The move comes after the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suggested the puja organizers to adopt technology and take the devotees on a virtual tour in order to avoid crowds from gathering in the puja pandals.
