Siliguri youth electrocuted to death while unloading cement

Siliguri, 10th February: Sensation prevailed after a labourer was electrocuted to death while unloading cement from a freight train, on Wednesday morning. The incident surfaced from the Siliguri NJP station premises.


The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Raja, a resident of Sonapur. He was a daily wager in NJP station.

Upon receiving the news, the NJP police as well as the Government Railway Police (GRP) police personnel reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.
