Siliguri, 30th May: Ranjan Sarkar, a member of the BoA at Siliguri Municipal Corporation, during an inspection in Ward No. 46 today, stated that unauthorized land occupancy and illegal construction on the city’s government lands will not be tolerated in any way. He claimed to fix all issues and soon transform Siliguri into ‘The City of Dreams’.
Ranjan Sarkar, who reached the Pokaijote area of ward no. 46 to look into the drainage system, said that the illegal construction of the area will be demolished by sending a notice. Illegal construction will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If anyone’s name comes to light in this case, legal action will be taken against him.
He further said that proposals for making Siliguri a smart city will be presented during the meeting which is scheduled to be held on June 04 in Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
