Siliguri, 11th July: Siliguri Town-1 of Darjeeling District Trinamool Yuva Congress staged protest at a petrol pump in Siliguri’s Burdwan Road opposing the rise in prices of petroleum products.
Siliguri Town-1 President Gopal Shah, Vice President Preet Paul, Kamod Paswan, Gautam Das, Naveen Mandal, Chhotu Pandit, Abhishek Sahani, Pankaj Singh, and other activists were present at the programme.
The Yuva Trinamool alleged that the central government is carrying out anti-people activities. Common people are facing huge trouble as the prices of daily necessities and petroleum products are constantly going up. They warned of staging larger demonstrations if the prices of petroleum products do not decrease in the coming days.
