Coach Sameem Siddiqui stated that no good training system is available in Siliguri for Throwball. With the little training they received from school, they performed amazingly well in the competition. Councillor Nantu Pal honoured the Champions with a bouquet.

The Siliguri Department of Sports Council stated that they do not have a proper infrastructure for Throwball. However, a proper infrastructure needs to be arranged for the students so that they can make the city proud just like Wriddhiman Saha and Richa Ghosh.
