Alipurduar, 28th April: Based on a tip-off, the Dalgaon Forest Department officials launched an operation near the Birpara Dalmore area, late Monday night.
The team recovered 27 CFT Segun wood worth lakhs upon searching a Maruti van. The vehicle has been detained in the incident. However, the smugglers managed to escape the scene.
