Siliguri, 09th August: Five jumbo oxygen cylinders were donated to Siliguri District Hospital on behalf of the Rotary Club of Siliguri Metropolitan.
Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb handed over the oxygen cylinders to the superintendent of Siliguri District Hospital. Besides, masks were was also provided. The cylinders can not only be used for COVID patients but other patients as well.
Shubhashis Chattopadhyay, district governor of the Rotary Club of Siliguri Metropolitan, said that the Rotary Club is providing oxygen cylinders to various hospitals in the state.
Apart from Goutam Deb, the programme was attended by the Superintendent of Siliguri District Hospital Pradeepta Bhattacharya, members of the Rotary Club, and other doctors and nurses.
