Alipurduar, 14th January: Road Safety Week is being observed in various areas of Alipurduar district under the aegis of Alipurduar District Police. In this context, the Hasimara Police celebrated Road Safety Week, today, in the Madhu Chowpati area of Kalchini block. A rally was also organized on this occasion, in which, school children and officials of the Hasimara Outpost Traffic Police participated.
Meanwhile, Road Safety Week was also celebrated in Madarihat. During the event, the motorcycle drivers, without helmets, on the Madarihat Asian Highway, were provided with helmets, roses, and chocolates and were instructed to obey the traffic rules. Around 50 motorcycle drivers were provided with helmets, today.
