Rajganj, 29th May: Rajganj’s newly elected MLA Dinesh Sarkar visited the residence of former MLA Khageswar Roy on Friday after learning about his illness and enquired about his health condition.
Sources said the two leaders held a long discussion on various issues during the visit. Apart from Khageswar Roy’s health, discussions were also held regarding development-related matters in Rajganj.
BJP leaders Tapan Roy and Madhabi Roy were also present along with Dinesh Sarkar during the visit.
Former TMC MLA Khageswar Roy said that Dinesh Sarkar has known him for a long time and had come for a courtesy meeting. He added that discussions were also held regarding further developmental needs in Rajganj.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Dinesh Sarkar said he visited Khageswar Roy after hearing about his illness. He stated that discussions were held and advice was taken, adding that Roy’s suggestions would continue to be sought in the interest of Rajganj’s development in future as well.
