Siliguri, 30th May: Voluntary organization ‘Prochesta’, on Saturday, felicitated all the cleaning staff and health workers in Ward No. 25, 31 and 32, who are on the frontline combating COVID-19 pandemic.
The organization members organized a programme at a private Bhawan near Siliguri Tinbatti More, where several cleaning staff and four health workers were felicitated. Besides, meals were also arranged for all of them.
Organization member Priya Roy stated that such an initiative has been taken to appreciate their tireless work to help stop the spread of the deadly virus.
Ward No. 25 former Councilor Sima Saha, Ward No. 32 former Councilor Tapas Chatterjee, Ward No. 31 former Councilor Deepa Biswas and many others were present during the programme.
