Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Kolkata, is scheduled to attend many programmes

Kolkata, 11th January: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport on Saturday evening, on a two-day visit to West Bengal. According to the information received, the Prime Minister reached Raj Bhavan by road directly from the airport. At the Raj Bhavan, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with the Chief Minister of the state, Mamata Banerjee, shortly.


At the airport, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar, BJP State President Dilip Ghosh, leader Mukul Roy, Rahul Sinha, Kolkata Mayor and West Bengal Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Minister Firhad Hakim welcomed the Prime Minister.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will participate in the 150th anniversary of Kolkata Port Trust at Netaji Indoor Stadium on Sunday. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit Belur Math. He will participate in the cultural program after meeting the ascetics.
