Siliguri, 28th November: Pradhannagar police and Bhaktinagar police arrested two people with drugs in two separate incidents.
It has been learned that Amarendra Kumar Sinha alias Bittu came to the SNT area adjacent to Junction to sell banned cough syrup. Upon receiving the news, the Pradhan Nagar police launched operations and arrested him.
On the other hand, Bhaktinagar police arrested another youth named Kanai Das with intoxicating injections in front of TB Hospital, Ward No. 44. 41 pieces of intoxicating injections were recovered from his possession.
The duo was produced in court today.
