Jalpaiguri, 05th November: On Diwali night, a portion of a residence in Jalpaiguri’s Samajpara was burnt to ashes. It has been learned that the house caught fire after firecrackers fell on the house.
The fire was brought under control with the efforts of Police and firefighters. Losses of around 25 lakh rupees have been reported.
