Siliguri, 04th June: A youth charged with burglary has been arrested by the NJP police. The arrested accused has been identified as Abhijit Mandal, a resident of Shantipara under NJP station.
As per the report, Abhijit’s mother gave him 600 rupees, a few days ago, to buy a gas cylinder. However, he spent the money for a different purpose. Following this, he allegedly stole a full gas cylinder as well as a table fan from the residence of a local named Alok Mohammad and further sold the empty cylinder to another man from the locality.
On the other hand, Alok Mohammad lodged a complaint against the accused at NJP station. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Abhijit Mandal.
