Phansidewa, 25th September: A bus carrying pilgrims met with an accident on National Highway 27 at Goaltuli More in Phansidewa on Friday while returning to Assam from Ram Mandir.
The bus was carrying more than 40 passengers. According to the passengers, they heard a loud sound before the bus suddenly fell into a roadside water-filled ditch. Around 25 to 30 passengers were injured in the accident.
On receiving information, police from Phansidewa Police Station reached the spot, rescued the injured and sent them to Phansidewa Hospital for treatment.
Police have taken the damaged bus into custody and started an investigation into the incident.
