Siliguri, 21st August: The Phansidewa Police arrested five people with a large quantity of fake liquor.
It has been learned that on the basis of a tip-off, the police raided the Munda basty area near Phansidewa Power House on Friday night and recovered 130 bottles of domestic liquor, 120 liters of spirit, 40 packets of sticker and lots of empty bottles, and fake liquor from a factory.
According to sources, the fake liquor used to be prepared at the residence of Munal Munda, a resident of Munda basty. They were produced at Siliguri sub-divisional court on Saturday.
