Panitanki Outpost Police bust four on the charges of robbery

Siliguri, 06th July: Four men charged with robbery have been arrested by the Panitanki outpost police. The arrested accused have been identified as Tapan Pal, Dilip, Viky, and Tapan Roy.


According to police sources, a motorcycle was stolen from the Siliguri Church Road area on July 3. Following which, a complaint was lodged at the Panitanki outpost.

Based on the complaint, the police launched investigations and arrested Tapan Pal from the Siliguri Vidyachakra Colony area. After interrogating him, the whereabout of the stolen motorcycle was revealed.


Following this, the police also arrested Dilip from the same area and Viky from Mahananda para. After interrogating them, the police learned about Tapan Roy, who was involved behind the robbery and successfully got hold of the accused from Malbazar Kranti Anandapur tea garden.

Apart from the mentioned motorcycle, 3 more motorcycles were recovered from their possession. The arrested accused individuals were produced before the Siliguri Sub-divisional court today.
